When/where did you first start doing Lindy Hop?
My boyfriend started taking east coast lessons as an anniversary present. We both really loved it, but wanted to be able to dance to more tempos. We found Meeshi at the Firehouse in 2008 and that is when our lindy hop dancing began.
Why did you first start doing Lindy Hop?
What is the size of your local Lindy community?
Friendly. The San Diego scene is welcoming and big enough that there are always new people to meet and small enough to always see a smiling face.
How often do you go out dancing or take lessons?
Usually about 3 days a week.
What is your favorite thing about Lindy Hop (both as an activity and as a community)?
Everyone is welcoming to people of all ages and abilities.

I'm a student and future attorney.

I dress this way everyday. I'm an old soul.
How has Lindy Hop changed your life?
it's helped me break out of my shell. I'm pretty shy and dancing has helped me be able to less timid.
