My Story:
I had been tap dancing since I was six years old, and had been a professional since my college days. On a trip to Europe with my boyfriend, the head of the Jiving Lindy Hoppers wanted to meet with me (because I was the author of the book, "TAP! The Greatest Tap Dance Stars and Their Stories 1900-1955). We met, and he gave me a video tape to watch. Upon my return to the States, I popped it in the machine, and my eyes popped! Lindy Hop!!!! I just had to do it!! (The rest, as they say, is history).
I have been running Lindy By The Sea and my Wednesday nite dance (Rusty's Rhythm Club) since 1998.
So be careful when someone hands you a tape!

I actually started in London, England, with Simon Selmon (performing and teaching) back in 1996

Dance, dance, dance. I teach Lindy Hop. I host a weekly swing dance club (Rusty's Rhythm Club), and I produce and sell instructional tap and lindy hop dvds.
