My Story:
I first got introduced to Lindy, Feb '06, when a friend of mine told me to come on down to his sock hop in Victorville, CA. There, I met some people he was on a dance troop with, they worked with me teaching away throughout the night, then I was hooked! one week later I was on their team and couldn't get enough. Through the last few years I have moved away from home and back but I always carried my dancing with me wherever I went. I have had this "family" to go to whenever the real world is about to swallow me whole. For me dancing is my escape, a place where I know I will always be accepted, appreciated, and loved.

Feb '06, in victorville, ca @ a friend's sock hop he put on in his high school.
Why did you first start doing Lindy Hop?
because my friend told me to get my butt out there to visit him.
What is the size of your local Lindy community?
pretty darn big

ummm like 4 days a week.....or more.
What is your favorite thing about Lindy Hop (both as an activity and as a community)?
its a really awesome social circle of an extended caring family. its great excersize, and just really fun!
