An Orlando favorite since 2001! The Orlando Swing Dance was founded by local Instructors Rob & Dawn Shrewsbury of Flying Footwork to provide quality swing dance events and lessons to the Central Florida area.
In 2008 Rob & Dawn retired from event productions and transfered the dances to Swing Era Productions. Our goal continues the vision set in motion by Rob & Dawn, to keep the spirit of the swing era music and dancing alive!
We hope to share our excitement and enthusiasm of this art form with you through The Orlando Swing Dance!

Our venue has a large hardwood dance floor at our twice-a-month Saturday dance! We play the best in swing, big band, jump blues, and early rock-n-roll for your dancing enjoyment. From slow tempos to fast, there is something for everyone.
Food and drink are available on donation basis. This is a family friendly event in a smoke and alcohol free environment. It offers tons of energy in a social atmosphere!
Looking to get started with swing dancing? This is your chance! This dance features a free beginner swing dance class (8 to 9pm) that covers all the essentials from footwork to basic turns.
The dance is located at the Whirl & Twirl Dance Club at 6949 Venture Circle

Beginner Class: 8-9pm
