In 1998, my friend and co-worker Denise asked me to go with her to a free swing class at Sandra Cameron Dance Center in Manhattan. We had a great time and really enjoyed the demos afterwards, particularly the charleston. I decided at that point: I need to learn how to do this!
The rest is history.
